We stand behind our work. Every new tile installation we complete is backed by a 2-year workmanship guarantee on labor.


What This Guarantee Covers

If something goes wrong with our installation within two years, we’ll come back and fix it at no charge. This includes:

  • Tiles that come loose or debond
  • Grout that cracks or falls out due to installation error
  • Waterproofing failures on systems we installed
  • Caulk joints that fail at corners or transitions

The 2-year period starts on the day we complete your project and you sign off on the finished work.


What This Guarantee Does Not Cover

We’re tile installers, not magicians. Some things are outside our control.

Repairs and partial work

We only guarantee work we do from start to finish. That means:

  • No warranty on repair jobs (grout repairs, leak repairs, fixing someone else’s work)
  • No warranty if another contractor did the waterproofing
  • No warranty if we tiled over a substrate we didn’t prepare

If we didn’t waterproof it, we can’t guarantee it won’t leak.

Damage after we leave

We’re not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Impact, abuse, or accidents
  • Settling, foundation movement, or structural problems
  • Plumbing failures that have nothing to do with our work
  • Modifications made by you or another contractor
  • Normal wear over time

Materials

Tiles, grout, and setting materials have their own manufacturer warranties. If a tile cracks because of a factory defect, that’s on the manufacturer — not us. We also can’t guarantee we’ll find matching tile if your tile gets discontinued.

Lack of maintenance

Tile and grout need basic care. If grout deteriorates because it was never sealed or cleaned properly, that’s maintenance — not a defect in our work.


Your Responsibilities

To keep this guarantee valid:

  1. Report problems quickly. If you notice an issue, tell us within 30 days. Don’t let a small problem become a big one.
  2. Let us inspect before assuming the worst. We need to see the issue before we can determine what’s causing it and whether it’s covered.
  3. Don’t modify our work. If you or another contractor changes something we installed, the guarantee on that area ends.
  4. Basic maintenance. Wipe up spills, keep grout sealed, recaulk wet areas when needed. We’re happy to advise on care.

How It Works

When the project is complete and you pay the final balance, your 2-year guarantee begins. Payment confirms you’ve accepted the finished work.

  2. Tell us what’s happening and when you first noticed it
  3. We’ll schedule a time to come look
  4. If it’s a workmanship issue, we fix it — no charge

We decide the best way to make the repair. The goal is to make it right, not to argue about it.


What This Guarantee Doesn’t Include

This guarantee covers our labor. It doesn’t cover:

  • Cost of replacement materials
  • Damage to other parts of your home
  • Temporary housing, lost time, or other indirect costs
  • Problems that show up after the 2-year period

Our responsibility is to fix defective workmanship. That’s it.


Why We Put This in Writing

Most tile guys don’t offer written warranties. We do because we’re confident in our work.

We’ve been installing tile for 25 years. We’re Certified Tile Installers (CTI #1344) through the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF). We use industry-approved waterproofing systems on every shower we build. We follow the standards because we’ve seen what happens when people don’t.
